There are many different moods and levels of formality to celebrate a 21st birthday so it's important that the 21st Birthday Party Games be appropriate. This birthday can be anything from black tie to backyard barbeque so choose the right games and activities that best suit your vibrant young adults.
The guests at a 21st birthday party are at the peak of their athletic abilities so if weather and local zoning permit challenging games can be planned for this party. Those who have access to specialized fields will want to utilize those for softball, beach volleyball or even riding and racing. For most people though the space is limited to the backyard and imagination and energy are more readily available than stables and riding habits.
A couple of fun and rowdy possibilities include Crab Football and Backyard Hoops. The trick here is to make up rules loosely based enough to include all who wish to participate. Everybody is familiar enough with basketball to loosely organize a quick game on the driveway. Make rules that keep the competition at your 21st birthday from getting too serious and so windows and barbeque grills stay in tact.
Crab Football is something like soccer, played with the largest and strongest beach ball available. The difference is that the players move around on their hands and feet with their torsos facing up giving them a crablike appearance. Sounds simple enough but it's actually pretty fatiguing to move around that way for long even for young and spry 21st birthday guests. But that is the reason that a small yard is big enough for this game. Take liberties with soccer rules to keep this game more fun than serious and all will be better. Make sure the yard is carefully groomed to prevent hand injuries.
Stock plenty of cold refreshments as these big 21st birthday games will definitely create thirsty amateur athletes!

21st Birthday Games for a Fun Party
Monday, May 28, 2007Posted by Kodirekka at 5:39 AM
25th Birthday Party Games
The 25th Birthday Party Games should reflect that mid-point between youth and maturity. Many of the guests will want to bring their children and spouse so this party is more likely to be one of the sedate family get-togethers than the wild parties that are thrown for younger people.
When this is the case, games can be chosen that will include parents and their likely very young children in a quality time manner that is of great value to working couples at the 25th birthday party. Games with simple rules and reasonable activity levels will best bridge this age gap.
Relays and sack races are among outdoor games that can involve father-son, mother-daughter or couples teams. Equipment is cheap enough since relays are usually just races in which simple objects are balanced and sack races incorporate burlap bags or other binding to secure one leg of one contestant to that of another, so you can save money at this 25th birthday party for important gifts. Presumably, they work together!
Carrying an egg in a spoon without dropping it is a classic example. The goal is to work quickly in teams without breaking the egg in the process of transporting it from one end of the course to the other where it is passed to the next team member. Themed parties can put a different spin on the objects and other factors that may tailor the game to special interests. Those who own orange trees, for example, may elect to balance oranges in two-liter bottles with the bottoms cut out. Those with rodeo horses may make this more of a barrel race. Everyone has a different spin that can make this simple concept more meaningful at your honored guest's big 25th birthday party.
Obviously inclement weather or apartment life can limit 25th birthday party games to those played indoors. The same idea applies: keep it simple. Try Bingo or simple card games that all enjoy.

60th Birthday Party Games
These 60th birthday party games are tailored to those still working or those fortunate enough to enjoy early retirement in a sunny locale. They work hard and may want to play just as hard. For instance, a pool party may still be fine for the active 60-year-old but the water volleyball might be better geared toward younger guests while older ones are made more comfortable in a sheltered picnic area.
The water volleyball sets for this 60th birthday party game are similar to land or sand volleyball with the net made of PVC tubes and mounted on floats. Teams of three to six players try to deliver the ball to the other side's court by tossing it into the air and then serving the ball over the net in a way that can't be returned but is still in bounds. The boundary lines are the pool walls. Each missed ball is scored. Game play ends when a score of 25 is reached by one team.
If a pool is unavailable, warm weather and an inexpensive set of horseshoes can provide hours of casual competition at your one and only big 60th birthday. The rules are simple and preparation only involves placing the stakes 40 feet apart in six to eight inches of sand. A square shaped sand pit at least 43 inches by 31 inches surrounds each stake. Participants are divided into two teams of equal number. Each team is given two horseshoes. Each player from a team pitches from behind his stake toward the stake at the other end. Then the other team plays to complete the inning. One point is awarded for shoes landing within six inches of the stake; one or two points for those leaning on the stake; and three points for shoes that sit encompassing the stake (called a ""ringer""). Game ends with a 40 point score by either team.

75th Birthday Party Games
By their 75th birthday many have reached most of the major life hallmarks but a list of 75th Birthday Party Games should point out that adventures are still to come for those who think young.
Often the 75-year-old is still very active and involved in community and personal development projects. For this reason a 75th birthday party for this crowd can still be relatively active. Music can be a lively solute to the Western Swing music or the early days of Rock-and-Roll. Skate boards are probably banned but Bingo, Mahjong or favorite card games could meet with fierce competition in this age group.
Invitations may be specific to both the 75th birthday and the game to be featured. For Instance a custom made printer friendly card could read,"" You are cordially invited to a 75th Birthday Party Poker Night"" and so on. Paper plates for the 75th birthday party could be matched with coordinating Poker or Bingo Party tablecloths to indicate the hybrid theme.
A card/birthday party is best supplied with the traditional finger sandwiches of ham, bologna, chicken or egg salad. Since it is also a birthday the cake and ice cream or lactose free frozen yogurt alternative are also expected. A diabetic fruit salad might also be a good idea with this age group on the guest list.
If the guest list is to be mixed with family and friends there is the possibility that young children will need to be entertained at the 75th birthday party. While the older adults are playing serious games of a more involved nature very young children may enjoy there own card games. Many examples exist but all time favorite children's card games of Gold Fish or Old Maid will take little effort to supervise. Also, make kid friendly adjustments to the menu as well.

Dora the Explorer Party Games
You’ll want some really fun games for the kids and the adults to be your Dora the Explorer party games. To help with the search here are a couple of great games you can enlist for your party.
The first Dora the Explorer party game is called ‘Pack Hunt’. It’s a variation on the traditional hide and seek game. The object of the game, a tricky jaguar has stolen Dora’s pack and she and her friends must look for it. You’ll need to pick one person to play the Jaguar and one person to play Dora. Give the person playing the Jagaur a backpack filled with different kinds of prizes to make the game more interesting. Give the Jaguar a full minute’s head start to find a hiding place, and then send Dora and her friends out to look for the Jaguar.
If someone finds the jaguar they must tag the person playing the jaguar to freeze him/her. Then call for Dora the Explorer to come and get her pack. However, the jaguar can try to bribe the person who tagged him/her with something from the pack in order to be released before Dora comes and try to find a new hiding place. The only rule, the jaguar can’t give away more than two items to each person in a bribe. If someone accepts a bribe then they must drop out of the game and return to the main party area. If the jaguar can elude Dora the Explorer for a full ten minutes he/she gets to pick one or two really good items on their choosing from the pack. Divide the rest of the items evenly amongst the group. If Dora finds the jaguar and gets her pack before then, she gets to pick the really good item/s.
The second Dora the Explorer game is a fun scavenger hunt. You need to get a bunch of items similar to those seen on Dora the Explorer such as Dora’s boots and her pack, and hide them around the party area. Make a couple lists to give to each group and send them off on the hunt. Set the game for fifteen minutes and give a prize to the group with the most items on the list.

Elmo Party Games
Elmo Party Games can be fun and friendly for all the kids at the party. Here are a couple of ideas for you to try out.
The first game is called, ‘Do as you would be done by.’ This is a game that even Elmo would have to endorse. Before the party starts make up several 3 by 5 index cards each with the name of one of the guests on it. Then mix them up in a hat or bag. As the kids arrive have them pick one index card from the bag. If anyone picks their own name they should put the card back and pick another.
Then later on at the party put a pile of goodies in the center of the group and tell everyone to right what type of treat each should get on back of their index card. Now the kids will think that they are deciding what goodies go to the person on the card, but you won’t actually say that, and when they are all done have each kid read out loud the amount and type they chose and tell them that they must pick out that much for themselves. So the kids who gave their fellows a healthy amount of candy get that in return and those that didn’t, don’t. The next Elmo party game is a fun word definition game that can be quite educational for the kids. Before the party starts make up a list of unusual words from the dictionary and for each make multiple choice definitions with the one correct definition along with three false definitions. So for example if you chose the word, ‘Scolex’. You could create an index card with the following: A) a small branch used for gathering stuff, B) head of a tapeworm, C) hair on a bee’s leg, D) a type of watch.
Have everyone at the Elmo party break up into groups. Then have one of the groups guess the answer, which in the case of the word ‘Scolex’ is letter B. If the group gets it wrong you move onto the next group. If all groups get it wrong reveal the answer and move to another word. Each group gets one point for each correct answer.

Fairly Odd Parents Party Games
These two fairly odd parents’ party games will help your guest have a great time at the next party you throw, whether it be a birthday or just a plain fun day.
The first game is a fairly odd one indeed called, ‘Conductor’. Billy has one of the Fairly Odd Parent’s wands and decides to be his own symphony conductor. Pick one person to play the conductor and have the rest of the kids sit in chairs around him/her. The conductor will clap time either slow or fast for the music and as he/she points at one of the players with the imaginary wand will yell the name of an instrument and that player must immediately start playing an imaginary instrument and making the noises that go with it. This person keeps playing and the conductor points at other players to get them started playing imaginary instruments. The point is to try and get everyone playing an imaginary instrument and playing it slow or fast.
The conductor can also make someone stop playing just by pointing at them again with the imaginary wand belonging to the Fairly Odd Parents. If you fail to notice the conductor pointing at you, you must drop out of the game.
The next game is called ‘wish list’. It’s a fun writing and guessing game for the kids to play when the adults have gotten tired out. Give everyone a piece of paper and pencil and have them write down 10 things they would wish for if they had Fairly Odd Parents. Then have them all put their names at the bottoms of the lists and pass them in to you. Read the lists one by one and have the players try and guess who wrote the list. You can have them write the name down quietly or just yell it out as the name comes to them. Those with the most guesses get a special treat.

Fairy Princess Party Games
These two fairy princess party games are a great way to keep the kids entertained at the party.
The first fairy princess party game is called ‘fairy tales’. Before the party make up a list of different common fairy tales on slips of paper and put them in a hat or bag. Then put up a sheet of white fabric and behind it set up a light so anyone standing between the sheet and the light will cast a decent shadow. Have everyone get into groups of two or three and have each group pull one fairy tale from the hat. Tell each group that they will have to perform the fairy tale behind the sheet. And the audience or the rest of the teams will try and guess what fairy tale they are watching. You can have them perform the entire fairy tale or just a memorable scene depending on the amount of time available.
Be sure to give each group plenty of time to plan out what scene/s they will perform from the fairy tale or even do a little research on the story if they aren’t familiar with it.
This next game called ‘Fairy Advice Columnist’ is a fun writing game that can produce riotous results at your Fairy Princess party. Get ready for a laugh. Give everyone piece of colored paper and a slip of plain white paper and a pencil. Tell everyone to describe a typical scenario that a person would write to an advice columnist about and finish it with a question seeking advice. Then they should pop that into the hat.
Mix up the questions and have everyone draw a question without looking at it. Then on their colored paper they should write down their advice for how to deal with the situation. Put the colored sheets of paper in a different hat and place the slips back in their old hat. Mix both up and have each player draw one question slip and one colored piece of paper at random, then they read each out loud to the group for a few laughs. This works best if you tell the players to try and be as vague and outrageous as they can be in their answers and you'll have a great Fairy Princess party.

Finding Nemo Party Games
These two finding Nemo party games are sure to get your little fish flitting about the party in a fun and happy time. Make sure you have enough room for this first game.
The first game I suggest for the party is simply called ‘find Nemo’. Nemo is hiding in the aquarium and the other fish are mimicking him to keep him from being discovered and taking away. The point of this game is to find out which of the players is initiating the movements that other players are copying.
Pick someone to look for Nemo and send that person out of the room. The rest of the players will pick someone to play Nemo and they’ll all copy whatever movement Nemo starts. So for example, Nemo will start scratching his/her nose and all the other players will start this as well. While they are scratching have the Nemo seeker come back into the room and try to figure out who Nemo is by watching the group closely as Nemo changes movements from scratching his/her nose to tapping his/her foot or making strange noises. Nemo must change his/her action at least once every twenty seconds if he/she can. When Nemo is found, start up another round of the game with different people.
This second game is called ‘Slogans’. Make up a bunch of slips of paper with the names of each of the characters from the movie Finding Nemo on them. You can list character two or three times to make enough slips for everyone. Then give the players a piece of paper and pencil and have each draw one slip from a hat. They must then write a fitting slogan for each character named.
Here’s the hard part. The players must begin each word of the slogan with a letter from the character’s name. For example: Nemo’s slogan from Finding Nemo could be ‘Nobody Encouraged Me, Oiy!’ Then you have all the players read their slogans out loud and vote on whose is the best.

Harry Potter Party Games
You’ll be happy to have these Harry Potter Party Games on hand the next time you’re holding a Harry potter book release party for the kids.
The first game I suggest is called ‘Play Time’. Before the party collect bundles of three odd items and put them in pillow sacks or bags. Then when you start the game have the kids get into groups and have each group take a bag. Each group must use all of the items they find in an undiscovered scene from one of the Harry Potter books.
Be sure to give all of the groups plenty of time to put together their scene. You may even want to let them have a practice run before they put on their mini plays. To make this kind of competitive, each group must use clues in the scene to indicate which of the Harry Potter books the scene is from and you can have the rest of the guests try to guess which of the books this undiscovered scene comes from.
The next game is called ‘Wizards’. It’s a fun version of tag for magic fans and Harry Potter fans, of course. Have all the players stand in a circle with their eyes closed. Then walk around the circle and place your hand on the backs of those who will become wizards. Try to average about one wizard for every five players. Then have everyone open their eyes and start running.
None of the players will know who each of the wizards are at the start of the game and the wizards won’t know their fellows at first either. Each wizard runs around pressing their hands against the backs of runners to freeze them. Fellow wizards won’t be frozen if they are tagged. Other players can unfreeze the frozen players with a warm hug. The point is to try and get all the players frozen. If the wizard manage to succeed in getting everyone frozen you should give them a Harry Potter party themed prize like chocolate wands, which are really chocolate covered pretzels.

Hello Kitty Party Games
Friday, May 25, 2007These two Hello Kitty party games are great for sleepover parties or just a fun Hello Kitty themed birthday party.
The first Hello Kitty game is called ‘feelers’. Before the party get a pillowcase and fill it with some Hello Kitty related items. These can be a stuffed kitty, a hair bow, cat food, a ball of yarn, etc. Then tie the top of the pillowcase so no one can look inside. Then at the party give all the players a piece of paper and a pencil. Have everyone take thirty seconds feeling the contents of the bag through the fabric. Then the players must all write down what it is that they think is in the bag.
You can have people read their guesses aloud for a bit of fun. And be sure to give the person with the most correct guesses a prize for their trouble. Maybe a tinkle ball? It does fit with the Hello Kitty party theme.
The next game is called, ‘To Tell a Truth’. Before this game starts tell each player to cut a longish piece of yarn from a ball of string. Then have everyone sit down in a circle. At this point you’ll tell them that they must wind a ball out of their yarn as they are telling some truthful stories about themselves. This can be a great way for everyone to get to know each other in the most telling details at the party.
They’ll quickly find that it’s hard to wind a ball of yarn and talk quickly so they’ll have to proceed slowly in order to get their task done. If the player stops talking to think they must also stop winding their yarn and as soon as they run out of yarn to wind they have to stop their story, no matter where it is in the plot. You can give a prize to the most truthful tale at your Hello Kitty party.

Why Not Have a Foam Dance Party at Your Next Indiana Event
The term “foam dance party” is really confusing to a lot of people. What is it? Why would someone want to do play in foam? Where can you find one?
A foam dance party can be simple with foam pouring out of a machine into your back yard. You can also contain the foam in an inflatable pit or you can get really elaborate and add black lights disco balls and loud music. And if you wonder why everyone likes them? Just remember how fun it was to play in a bubble bath when you were a child. And then multiply that feeling again and again. Not only is it fun to be in the foam…but watching the bubbles float up through the sky is an entertaining experience.
In the past you could find foam dance parties at colleges but they are becoming more and more popular each year for the average backyard party. Of course there are always a lot of questions when the subject of the foam party comes up. I’ll try to answer some of them here:
* The foam is a specialty foam although you can actually use baby shampoo if you don’t have foam available.
* Foam Machines and Pits can be found at Specialty Party Rental Companies
* If you’re more of a DIY type person….you can find instructions for building your own foam machine on the internet. They are fairly simple to make.
* Nope…you’re not supposed to be naked. Clothing is good!
* Foam parties can work for all ages. You can adjust the amount of foam that’s filling the area to meet the needs of your guests.
Generally you’ll want to have your event outside and for safety’s sake you’ll need an area that isn’t slippery when it’s wet. Some inflatable foam pits have vinyl bottoms but most are just inflatable retaining walls.
If you rent equipment the cost for the parties generally runs from $300-$2000.00 depending on the amount of foam needed and the length of time for your event. This year you’ll probably see foam parties at Company Picnics, Birthday Parties, College Events, Fundraising parties and festivals.
And Yes….if you’re looking for some Good Clean Fun, a foam party is just what you need!

Justice League Party Games
These two Justice League party games will help keep the guests interested at the party whether it’s a birthday party or a fun sleepover.
This first Justice League party game is called, ‘balloon battle’. You’ll need a lot of space for the kids and adults to run around in for this game. Give every player a blown up balloon tied to a piece of string and a rolled up newspaper. You can divide the group into two teams if you like, one being the villains and one the Justice League. Go ahead and use two different color balloons so players can discern the different teams. Each player ties a string around the balloon and the other end of the string around your ankle.
When the game starts each player tries to pop the other’s balloon and keep others from popping theirs. Set a time limit of ten minutes for the balloon battle and at the end of the time the team with the most surviving balloons wins the battle.
The second Justice League game is called ‘goodies and baddies’ is another balloon battle game. This time each team gets one balloon. Better make them each two different colors so the team doesn’t accidentally pop their own balloon. At your go each team has to keep their balloon in the air and they have to try and pop the enemy team’s own balloon.
Before you start this game its important to set some ground rules. Nobody can grab their balloon and hold it out of the other team’s sight. Teams can’t roughhouse with each other and everyone should try and play fair because the Justice league always plays fair.
The point of the game is to try and keep your balloon from being popped longer than the other team. If the game ends rather quickly you can always start right back up again with another couple of balloons. This game can go for as many rounds as you want.

La Quinceanera Party Games
La Quinceanera Party Games are almost as important as that first boy/girl slow dance for your young daughter’s big 15th birthday party. So here are a couple of La Quinceanera party games that out to keep the guests laughing.
The first game is called ‘Rhyme Round’. It’s a good La Quinceanera party game to play with the adults who may be tired out after a long day of celebrations. It’s a rhyming round of conversation to keep the small talk at the party fun. Have everyone sitting at a table play.
You can start this La Quinceanera game by turning to the person to your left and asking them a silly question. Then this person turns to the person to their left and asks another silly question, but the first word of their silly question must rhyme with the last word of your silly question and so on. For example; you ask ‘How’s the duck dance going pal?’ and that person says ‘Sal, we duck’s don’t dance, haven’t they got two left feet?” to the person to their left. This style of rhyming continues around the party table. If anyone falters or messes up a rhyme they have to drop out of the game. Be sure to give a La Quinceanera party prize to the last person talking.
The second game is called, ‘Ping Pong Blow’ and it’s a test of everyone’s lungs at the La Quinceanera party. For it you’ll need two ping pong balls, a couple of baskets and a long table. The players will start with their balls set on one end of the table and try to get them to the other side of the table and into the baskets on the floor by only using their breath. This can be a crazy game because the ping pong balls tend to go any which way they want. The first to get their ping pong ball into the basket is the winner. If the ping pong ball falls off the table at any time and not into the basket you will place at the end of the table, the player owning the ball has to start from the beginning of the table again.

Two Fun Lizzie McGuire Party Games
Look out guests, these Lizzie McGuire Party games are sure to fun for middle schoolers and even adults at the party.
The first game is called, ‘What Nonsense’ and it’s sure to be a hit at your Lizzie McGuire party. This is also a good game to help break the ice at your party because it gets people talking. Before the game you’ll need to prepare by getting several slips of paper and writing funny or silly topics of conversation on them. Topics can be anything you can think of or you can use some topics related to Lizzie McGuire, such as ‘What part of Lizzie McGuire’s mind do you think that cartoon version of her represents?’
Have each guest draw a slip of paper and talk on the topic for about two minutes. Give prizes out at the end of the game for those who have the most outrageous answers, the most practical and so on.
The second game is called ‘observation’. It’s a fun but misleading game that you can use to test your Lizzie McGuire party guest’s powers of observation. Have someone dress up in the funky clothes style of Lizzie McGuire and give her a tray filled with typical girl type items, such as bracelets, hairspray, brushes and Hello Kitty stickers. Then give each of your guests a piece of paper and a pencil and bring the person holding the tray of items out for everyone to observe. Tell the guests that they have thirty seconds to observe closely and memorize everything they see.
The guests will think they are supposed to memorize everything they see on the tray, but you didn’t say that did you? Nope. Send the Lizzie McGuire look alike out of the room and tell the guests to write down every detail they can remember about the person carrying the tray. Guests at your Lizzie McGuire party will be shocked and befuddled. At the end of say two minutes bring the tray bearer back out and have everyone sign their papers and turn them in. Give prizes to the person who has the most details correct.

Mis Quince Party Games
Tuesday, May 15, 2007These two Mis Quince Party Games will be a delight for the guests who have come to the special 15th birthday party of your daughter. Make sure to have lots of prizes and room to have fun in.
The first game is called, ‘Emotional Mime’. It works best at Mis Quince parties where everyone knows each other fairly well. Before the party, take the time to write down the names of all the guests coming to the party on pieces of paper. Then during the Mis Quince party have everyone stand in a circle or sit in a group and just have people take turns standing up. Each person is to draw a name from the slips you’ve created before the party. Then you tell the group that each player will mime the emotion that they feel dominates the person whose name they’ve drawn. So if Uncle Sal is always a bit grumpy then the player miming him at the Mis Quince would have to show him being grumpy. Then the rest of the players try and guess who is being imitated.
The next game is called ‘Dear Advice Columnist’. This works well as a pre- or post- Mis Quince party game, especially if you plan on having a bit of a sleepover for the girls at the party. Give each of the players a slip of white paper and a piece of colored paper. On the slip of paper each guest is to write the type of question someone would send into an advice columnist. Then have everyone put their questions into a hat or bag. Mix up the slips of paper and have everyone draw a different slip. The players must respond to the question as if they were an advice columnist by writing the answer on the colored paper. When everyone is finished, have the players put their pieces of colored paper into a different hat or bag and their question slips back in the original hat or bag. Mix up both again and have each player draw one piece of colored paper and one question slip.
Each person at the Mis Quince party game is to read aloud the mixed up questions and pieces of advice for a fun laugh. It helps if you tell the players to keep their questions and answers as outrageous as possible.

Nascar Racing Party Games
Not all NASCAR Racing party games are the same. Some can be great for adults to play before the big race and some are just for keeping the kids entertained at a birthday party. Here are a couple of NASCAR racing games that hopefully fit both needs.
The first game is a race game simply called ‘Ankle Racing’. It’s just like a regular outside race with a simple change in racing position. Make sure you have the players stand one and a half arms lengths apart from each other and be sure you have the race outside at your NASCAR racing party so no one accidentally races into the floor lamp.
On your go each of the racers will reach down, grab their ankles and race walk as fast as they can to the finish line. This tends to be harder to do than in looks so you may want to limit the race to younger folks who are more limber as your NASCAR party.
The next for the game NASCAR Racing party is called ‘Roll Along’. For it you’ll need one chair for each team of two players, two long pieces of string and one ping pong ball for each group.
Have the players divide themselves into groups of two and play each player a distance apart. Then have each player hold one end of each of the two pieces of string very tightly. One player is to sit in the chair you provide. Then once everyone is set up you’ll go along and place one ping pong ball to balance on the taut strings of each group. Preferably place the ball on at the end where the player is sitting in a chair.
At your go the NASCAR racing party players are to try and send their ping pong balls from one player to the other by holding their strings up and down on each end. The first group to complete the circuit three times are the winners.

Over the Hill Party Games
These two Over the Hill party games are sure to keep the guests interested and having fun while at your party.
The first game is called ‘Analysis’ and is meant to get an idea of what’s been bothering the guest of honor lately. Surely it can’t be the thought of being over the hill, but this whole party is dedicated to the idea.
Have the guest of honor lie down on the couch and let each guest take turns firing psychoanalytical questions at him or her. These can be questions like, ‘What was your most embarrassing dream?’ and ‘How do your feel about being another year older?’ Then the guest of honor has to answer the questions truthfully. Do this for about ten minutes then have each of the players outline their diagnoses of what they think could be wrong with the guest of honor. You can all vote and give a best to the best one. Be sure that you have a very easy going guest of honor at the Over the Hill Party before you try this game.
The next game is a fun and easy ‘Name Ripple’ game that you can use at the Over the Hill parties of those well into their golden years. Have everyone get into a circle. They can be sitting or standing. Then start the game by calling out your own name and raising your hands in the air in a cheer. Then the person next to you repeats your name and raises their hands and the person after them and so on until the cheer gets back to you and you raise your hands and call out your name once more. Then the person next to you calls out their own name and raises their hands in a cheer to be ‘rippled’ through the rest of the group until it returns to them. The goal is to keep the cheer going around the circle, even as names change, without faltering until everyone has had a chance to be named.

Two Cool Pirates Party Games
Mates, these pirate party games are sure to be a hit amongst your guests. So scurry along and get planning.
The first of these pirate party games is aptly called ‘Treasure Hunt’. Before the party you’ll have to scatter a bunch of clues throughout the party area. An easy way do that is by writing the clues on pieces of paper and have them lead the guests from one clue to the next until eventually they find the hidden treasure. By the way a large bunch of foil wrapped chocolate coins fits the bill well.
Make the clues easy to understand so all the guests can help to look for the next one. For example: one clue can be a sentence like ‘Look for the next clue in the Land of Oz.’ If your guests are book smart they will know that Oz is an imaginary land in the book, The Wizard of Oz, and they’ll check out the bookshelf to see if there is a copy of that book on it. Inside the book you’ll have placed the next clue.
The next game is called ‘Desert Island among Friends.’ This is a fun game to play at your Pirate party when everyone has gotten tired of the treasure hunt. Have everyone break up into groups of three or four and designate someone to be the group leader. Give this person a piece of paper and a pencil. For yourself, make up slips of paper with a letter of the alphabet on each and put them into a hat.
Have each group leader create four categories; food, drink, clothing and shelter. Then you will draw one slip from the hat and tell all the groups to think of and write down kinds of food that begin with that letter. So if you draw the letter ‘B’ then they will have to think of foods that start with that letter such as, Bagels, Biscuits, and Berries and so on. Repeat these steps for each of the four categories with you drawing a new letter for each.
At the end have each group call out the items they thought up for one of their categories. The other groups have to strike those items off their lists if they happen to have them as well. Have each group read what’s left and have the other’s strike those items off their lists. Do this with each category. Finally, tell the guests at your pirate party that they have washed up on a desert island and the resulting lists are what they have left to eat, wear and shelter themselves with. Have the group leaders read out loud what’s left.

Two Great Puppy Pups Party Games
These fun puppy pups party games are sure to keep the kids interested at your next party, so be sure to note them down and get planning.
The first puppy pups party game is called ‘Pass the Bone’. It’s kind of a fun relay race for all the kids. Have everyone divide into two groups to compete against each other. For this you’ll need two decent sized rawhide bones. Get the groups to line up in two straight rows. Then give each person at the end of each row one bone to place between their chin and their chest. At your go, these players will turn to the player next to them and pass the bone and the person receiving the bone most take it by grabbing it between their chin and chest as well. No one can touch the bones with their hands. The point is to try and pass the bone from one end of the line to the other before the other group does the same. At the end of this game give the bones to the real puppy pups in your home as special treats.
This next game called, ‘Puppies and Kittens’ is great fun to play at your next outside puppy pups party. Gather everyone in a loose circle and tell them all that they are to be one of two animals, either a puppy or a kitten. Then have them close their eyes and find the inner animal within. Once they’ve all decided whether they are to be a puppy or a kitten. They must try and find the other kittens and puppies in the group by sound alone. No one can open their eyes. So everyone will need to start barking or meowing and following those sounds to find the others in their groups. You’ll be watching to see which animals form a complete group first. Give the winning group, probably the puppies since this is a puppy pups party a special treat.

Powerpuff Girls Party Games
These two Powerpuff Party Games are a great way to get your next birthday party off to a good start. Just be sure to have enough room for all the players.
The first game is called, ‘Chipmunk Charades.’ In this one Bubbles has lost her ability to speak English and currently can only speak to chipmunks. This game has several parts to it. First you must choose the villain, someone must play the bad guy who then chooses what the secret password to activate the doomsday devices. Bubbles has heard from her squirrel friends about the doomsday devices, but not being able to speak or have anything to write with must use charades to tell the others the password within 5 min.
There is a large amount of freedom with this game as nearly everything is customizable. However, this game requires around 3-5 players to really be fun any less or more just detracts from the fun. For a little competition time the charades and give a prize to the person who guesses the password Bubbles is trying to give, the fastest.
Another great Powerpuff Girls game to play is called ‘Inventing New Monsters.’ This is a variation of the game ‘Twenty Questions.’ Choose one person to come up with a new monster idea and choose a secret method for each new enemies weakness. Then, by guessing different categories the others get a certain number of tries to guess the weakness. The person who created the monster can only give a yes or no answer to the players who are playing the Powerpuff Girls trying to find their enemies weakness with in a time limit of say two minutes.
This is a great game for the kids as it encourages creativity and the more unique and unusual weakness the more interesting the resulting game will be. The heroes side will gain extra points based on speed, and if half the available time is used then the villains score is also halved. This bonus is cumulative so half of half the time will lead to a quarter point bonus.
Creativity is just as important as logic and deduction. All of which the Powerpuff girls have plenty of. This game is especially great as there are no real restrictions on players, anyone from 2 to 20 or 30 can play easily.

Party Supplies Make the Ordinary Party Extraordinary
Some people just seem to have a knack for throwing a great party. It doesn't matter what type of party it is - birthday party, anniversary party, bridal shower, or a "just because" party - some celebrations are simply memorable. What separates the memorable parties from the mundane? Great planning, imaginative themes, and exceptional party supplies.
Great Planning
Great party planning starts weeks (or in the case of a wedding, a year or more) in advance. Timing is crucial. If you're hosting a birthday party for children, make sure it doesn't overlap with kids' weekend soccer games or swim meets. Next comes the guest list. The most interesting adult parties are those that have a mix of people with different interests and backgrounds who wouldn't normally have the opportunity to mingle. Then come a variety of other lists and plans: the menu, the shopping list, the all-important timeline, the entertainment, and so on.
Imaginative Themes
Memorable parties often have imaginative themes. Instead of a run of the mill Sunday barbecue, why not throw a luau, replete with palm trees and tropical drinks with parasols? Costumes are a necessity at a Halloween party, of course, but costume parties are a blast at any time of year. Why not adopt your own version of the Fire and Ice Ball? Or throw a "Summer in January" party as a winter pick-me-up? Even small get-togethers can have themes. If you host a book club, for example, encourage members to dress as the characters in the book. If you're a member of a monthly poker game, assign a theme to each month and have players bring small favors relating to that theme to give to the night's biggest loser.
Exceptional Party Supplies
Great party supplies add excitement, enjoyment, and an element of surprise to any party or event. The hosts and hostesses of the parties people remember know that party supplies are key to carrying out party themes and adding that special something that other events lack.
Party supplies encompass a vast array of fun extras. Themed plates, napkins, cups, pinatas, balloons, and favors are really only the tip of the party supply iceberg. There are also centerpiece decorations, customized invitations, cake toppers, party poppers, banners, and table skirting.
Many people shy away from party supplies because of a perception that party supplies are too expensive. The reality is that high-quality discount party supplies are available - you just have to know where to look. If there's not a discount party store franchise near you, let your mouse do the clicking. The Internet is a great resource for the bargain party supplies that will turn your next party from super to spectacular.

Quinceanera Invitation Tips
Quinceanera parties are many times as large and as formal as wedding parties. For these reasons, it is important to give your guest invitations to announce the upcoming event.
Choosing the Quinceanera Invitation
The quinceanera invitation sets the tone for the quinceanera party. It should reflect the colors or theme of the party. For example if the quinceanera’s dress will be pink, then it would be nice for the invitation to have a hint of pink. If the quinceanera party will be wrapped around a Cinderella theme, you may want to choose a Cinderella invitation or one that has a castle or coach.
Another popular alternative is to order invitations with a picture of the quinceanera girl. Sometimes these can include a current picture as well as her baby picture.
Choosing the Quinceanera Invitation Ensemble
The invitation ensemble should at least include the outer envelope, the invitation, and respond card (or enclosure). The respond card envelopes can be printed with the return address, thus saving you time. You can request to have both outer and inner envelopes lined in the color of your choice.
You may also consider inner envelopes and reception cards if you are planning to invite people to the ceremony only.
Ordering the Quinceanera Invitations
Quinceanera invitations should be ordered as soon as the date, time, and place have been confirmed. This should be at least three months in advance before the party. This leaves room for any reprinting that may be necessary as well as allows the person addressing them plenty of time.
Calculating How Many Quinceanera Invitations
In determining how many to order you must count one invitation per household (parents and children under 18), 1 per couple, and 1 per each single person 18 years or older. It is a good idea to order a few extras for those last minute guests and for keepsakes. It is always cheaper to order these extras at the time of the initial purchase than to place another order later on.
Addressing and Mailing the Quinceanera Invitations
The invitations can be addressed by hand or by the help of a computer printer. However, choosing a professional calligrapher to address the invitations is preferable since it gives them an added touch of elegance.
It is a good idea to mail the quinceanera invitations approximately six weeks before the party. This gives your guest enough time to respond and you enough time to tally who will be attending. These numbers will be very important when calculating the amount of food, the number of tables, chairs, place sets and favors.
Wording the Quinceanera Invitations
Traditionally, the parents invite in honor of their daughter. However, it is also acceptable for the quinceanera girl to do the inviting and give her thanks to her parents. Many times the godparents’ names are included as well as a list of the quinceanera’s court (the names of the 15 couples).
The language in which to write them depends mainly on the guests. If the majority of the guests speak only Spanish, it would be a good idea to print the invitations in Spanish. Some quinceaneras choose to print the invitations in a combination of both the English and Spanish languages.

A Summer Birthday Party at the Park
Parties at the park during summer months are fun. Everyone can soak up the pleasure of the surroundings and everyone invited can enjoy the beautiful day. Some summer parties are birthdays, to company picnics. Keeping these simple is easy with few decorations and a few planned games.
For decorations you can have balloons. Balloons are inexpensive and usually you can buy a package with maybe about twenty to fifty in the pack. Blow them up and group them in three, tie with a string and you have a balloon cluster. You can attach these to the tables or a nearby tree. If you don’t want balloons crepe paper is also a great item to use. Purchase several different colors put them together and twirl them and hand them around table or tree.
Games are fun too. Having a plan as to which ones are smart to have. One game from yesteryear is red light/green light. Have the kids and/or adults line up in a line about fifteen yards out and have a person that will be the light. They players in the line must take one step at a time…no running. The light will either say green light or red. If you move on a red light then you are out. The person/person who ends up close will get a small token/gift.
Another game to play is Simon says. Having a player that is Simon, he will tell the players what to do. Some examples are, Simon says hop in place, Simon says stop, then you can say jump, if anyone jumps when you just jump they are out.
These games are free to play. No one will get hurt playing these. They are simple and even the youngest of players can understand how to play. These are just simple games and decorations. When you are on a budget and at a loss as to what games and décor to have then this simple suggestion will come in handy.

A Low Budget Party that Boasts Being Expensive
Being crafty in this day and age sure can go a long way for party planning. Making your décor for the party is special too. It can compliment you in every way, when presenting a beautiful dinner party.
By planning a dinner party ahead of time is half the battle. Make notes of a theme you wish to center your party around. For example it’s about Easter. Then you may want to include hard boiled colored eggs. For a springy theme to your dinner table you can start with a plain while or ecru colored table cloth. Some votive candles or small pillar candles you can add. Remember its spring so think spring colors. Pinks are the best idea.
Next, buy a bag of Easter confetti or confetti that will compliment your dinner. Spread this confetti over your table cloth. The colors in this confetti will add flavor to your table. Put your candles on the table, and a few hard boiled eggs that are different colors. Remember now a day you do not have to boil the eggs to get colored eggs. Many of the stores carry the hard boiled colors eggs.
You can also add different colored peeps to your table décor. This method of decorating a table is inexpensive but in the same token it will look like you have spent time and money to decorate. When cleaning up, well you know the peeps will be gone, just remove everything except the confetti. Take it to the trash can and just dump it, and now you are clean.

Planning A Bachelorette Party
Monday, May 7, 2007Bachelorette party is one of the most wonderful gifts that can be given to the girl who is going to be married. The planning of a bachelorette party solely depends on the nature and personality of the bride to be. There are certain things that must be taken into consideration before planning a bachelorette party. The first thing is that the party must be planned at least three months before the wedding. The reason to plan it early is to make sure that no accidents get into the way of the wedding such as the ankle sprain, a fall etc. Therefore, it is wise to plan and having the party well before time.
It is really important that you get the list of all the girls that the bride to be wants to invite on her bachelorette party. Therefore it is important that you have the list of all the girls, their phone numbers, emails and addresses. The most important thing is to set a date and for that reason you need to pick a date that is most comfortable for most of the girls. It is important to know as to where you are going to have the party, whether it is going to be at home or at a different location and for that reason you need to find a hotel in that area. Another important thing is to determine as for how long this party is going to be, a day or two or more.
Among other questions that need to be answered in a bachelorette party is whether you will be needing a transportation or everyone would have their own vehicles, is anyone sick and will need any medications while away on party, who would be paying for what, and the most important thing is that whether this is going to be a conservative party or a wild one. All these things will help determine as to how the party will be planned and once again the planning must be executed months before wedding.

A Perfect Birthday Party For All
The concept of birthday party started from Europe and then spread to the Roman Empire. The practice of birthday party started from the soldiers. This practice slowly regressed and then gained acceptance from masses again as a way of celebrating the birthday. There are groups of people who do not believe in celebrating birthday because of their religious beliefs and some people do not practice this ceremony because it would make them feel they are getting older. Therefore different people have different beliefs and they practice it accordingly.
Anyways, birthday party is nothing but fun time, a time where everyone has an opportunity to sit together and share the feelings of happiness, which makes it awesome. There are different plans that can be made to make a birthday party perfect. It all starts with the party wear, nice clothing for everyone in the family to make the event special. The next thing is decoration that needs to be done to make it look like party time. One can get party hats, party bags, party poppers, streamers etc. and that would just make the entire party truly colorful and is something that the kids enjoy the most.
Another really important thing is to define the menu and it would be a nice thought if you involve your children into that so that you are able to get really good opinions from them because it is their time and they should have the opportunity to get the most out of it. It is best to order a cake beforehand so that the cake is delivered on time for the birthday party. Your planning is going to make everything perfect and your child would love every single moment of it. Another important thing that I would want to suggest here is that all your kids must have the same kind of birthday party or otherwise it would create a bad feeling in them.
Make the most out of good times.

Throw Book Parties For Kids
Book parties are a really new and an innovative idea to bring people closer to the books so that they can read and share their thoughts and views. Book parties can be organized by universities, schools, book stores, as well as by parents at home. The habit of reading is really wonderful and it opens up the doors of intelligence in a child’s world. It is from where the child starts to learn and understand different things and understand them in its true sense. Parents stress their children to read books but that can all be transformed into fun through book parties.
The best way that parents can inculcate the habit of reading in their children is to throw book parties. Parents know what kind of books their child likes to read. First of all you need to ask your child to come and sit with you and share with them the idea of book party that you have come up with. Next, you need to ask your child as to the friends that they need to invite to the party. Remember that this party is focused on developing a reading habit in your child. Then you need to make invitations with the help of your children so that they are a part of the entire event right from the very beginning till the end.
Set a date for the party, decorate the room and plan educational games that the kids can participate in and win prizes. For example, you can give them a spelling test or a word puzzle and who answers it the fastest will get the prize. You can ask them to read story books to each other and at the end you can serve food to all. You can also add more games to the party. The book parties will not only develop a habit of reading in your child but will also help him socialize with other children.

Book Party Decorations and Supplies For You
One cannot imagine the party without decoration and same goes the case with the book party. The book party decorations and supplies are something that one can find on the Internet. There are a lot of companies that are providing all the different kinds of ideas and thoughts to best suit the needs for your party. Since there are a lot of companies that are offering these services, it is you who need to know as to what kind of theme you need for your party and that will give you a good start to know exactly as to what kind of an event you are looking for.
Since there are times when one plans to have a book party but really does not know as to what kind of book party decorations and supplies they need, it is when one should seek professional guidance. The main purpose of seeking professional guidance is to make sure that the party is a success and everyone who attends it enjoys at best. The best ideas can be generated from places where you can expect the least and here I mean that you should always consult your kids for that matter.
Kids do have a lot of knowledge about their friends attending different parties and have a lot of ideas that they have gathered over the passage of time, so it would be the best thing to start gathering the ideas about the book party decoration and supplies from them as they can provide you with a nice lead.

The Best Book Party Ideas
My daughter recently turned 10 and I gave her a book as a gift because she is an avid reader. She asked me if we can throw a book party for her friends and I told her that we can do it and asked her as to how do we plan that because in order to materialize the thought we need to have the book party ideas. She told me that we can think on it and then we sat down together and started putting down the thoughts that we came up with, which you can simply call a brainstorming session. She told me that she has heard about it from one of her friends who had attended one such party.
This gave us a good start of jotting down the information. I was finding it hard to come up with any book party ideas and it was good that she had some knowledge on it. The first idea that we came up with was to select a book for the book party. The next one was to make themed invitation cards with the background of that book. Another very interesting thought was that we would involve the guests in a game and the winner of the game is going to win that book, which is the focus of our theme.
So far it was all nice but all that was going to require a whole lot of work that needs to be put in. I told her that I would not be able to do it alone and she told me that she is going to help me with everything, which I really appreciated. We then decided as to what are the different activities that we are going to add and jotted other book party ideas so as to document all the thoughts that we were coming up with. We worked on it for about four months off and on and finally in the fifth month we had a book party at home and it was really an incredible experience.

Glow Party Products Is A Unique Idea
At this day and age a lot of things have been changing and the ways in which the parties are conducted is changing as well. These days there are a lot of new gadgets that are being used such as glow party products and believe me the glow party products have brought a complete revolution as to how the parties are being decorated. The glow party products are also used in the fundraising campaigns, which is really a remarkable idea.
The different glow party products that are available includes glow sticks, glow necklaces, glow bracelets, twilight umbrella, glow shot glasses, glow straws and cocktail stirrers, glow cups, glow glasses, glow bunny ears, glow earrings, glow martini cups, etc. There are also umbrellas that glow in the dark. I think that these products have really brought a great change in the way the decoration is being done at the parties. If you are planning to have a party, just think about decorating the room with the glow party products, I believe it is going to grab a huge attention from a lot of visitors.
Another very interesting approach of using the glow party products is when you ask your boyfriend or girlfriend for a dinner at home, you can put on the glow lights on the sides, which will just give a very diffuse effect of light in the environment where it would not be a total dark and it would not be a lot of illumination and would make the environment pretty romantic.

I Love Party Decorations
The art of decoration can be traced back to thousands of years where different civilization had an excellent aesthetic sense. Their talents could be seen through the remains that were found by the archaeologists who were really stunned with their lifestyles and the way they used to live. The well known civilizations that we can refer to is the Egyptian civilization where the pictures of the pharaohs on the walls and their lifestyle told in the ancient scriptures, as well as the decorative patterns were nothing but marvelous.
It would not be wrong to say that the secret of a successful party is in its decorations. Different party decorations have different themes and it is sorted out according to the event. For example if you are having the 30th Anniversary, then this is a very special moment because you and your wife have been together for a good 30 years. You can decorate the house with the pictures that you have taken at different special moments and you can share them with your family and friends by mounting them on the wall, which would give your home a look of an art gallery.
It is also important that along with all the party decorations that would make both of you remember those precious moments, you give your spouse something that would just take her breath away and one of the things that you could give is your feelings engraved or painted with your signature at the bottom, such as I Love You plus your name underneath it, which would really touch her heart.

Party Banners Is A Must For All Parties
Party banners can be connected to a long history of banners that links to the ancient craft. The word banner is derived from the Latin word “Bandum”, a cloth used to make flags. The banners are also being talked about in the Old Testament. It is also linked to the battles in ancient times when Japanese army used a banner known as “Sashimono”, which they used to identify themselves on the battlefield. Well, this was just to track down a brief history of banners to understand its significance.
In case of party banners, the main purpose of them is to speak the word out about some basic information regarding a party, but it also requires the process of designing and giving it a look that attracts attention of a lot of readers. Let us take an example of a birthday party banner. The designing of the birthday party banners depend on the age of the individual, if it is a birthday party of a toddler then the banner can have the name of the child, the birth date and age of the child, venue of the birthday party, bright colors, the favorite toy of the child etc. All of this would make the banner look awesome and would be something that the child would love.
In case of a party banner as in baby shower, the basic purpose of a banner of baby shower is to let the couple know your support and how much you feel for them and want to be a part of their happiness. In these banners, you can just select colors that are cool to the eyes and can have a picture on it of a woman expecting a child, which can be an image as well, you can congratulate the couple by saying “Baby Shower Celebrations” “Best Wishes To Sam and Margaret” on the banner. Along with that there can be a lot of other ideas that can be put on a banner to share your happiness.

Motocross Parties Are Easy
There are few ways to keep motocross fans away from the sport so it's best to just give in and theme their parties in motocross paper party supplies. That being said what are the best decorations and indoor games for such a party?
Motocross has just as many familiar names and brands to supply team logos as any other sport so that's a starting point. Motocross has no specific season as with basketball and football so any current season's fresh foods and flowers will do nicely. A ""Hare Scrambles"" race theme will make a good cake decoration. The characteristic dirt tracks can be depicted with crumbled chocolate cookies and plastic dirt bikes can go squirrelly on the turns. Cake icing can build spectators and write names and best wishes in contrasting colors.
Small motocross fans will enjoy playing outdoors while adults may prefer to watch motocross. The sports network could be a good source but DVD's and prerecorded meets will be more likely to supply an afternoon's entertainment. If the date and time of a scheduled party does coincide with a live motocross broadcast then this is an obvious choice for amusement. Nothing compares to the excitement of a live broadcast of the sport.
Let them eat cake! And let them eat spinach dip with dried bread cubes and let them eat meats piled high on platters. Go all out with party trays whenever a sport is the entertainment because the excitement will make everyone hungry. It will also tend to make the party longer and meals will be missed otherwise.
There's probably little point in using anything other than paper party goods for the Motocross theme. The good china is clearly better left for a less rowdy crowd and clean up is as simple as taking out the trash.

Luau Parties Bring the Tropics Home
Luau paper party goods are essential parts of any summer tropically themed party regardless of the occasion. Birthday parties, graduations or any kind of pool party or cookout will be more festive when the bright colors of a luau are present.
Menu choices for the luau party can vary from simple pork and pineapple dishes to any sort of Asian or Polynesian foods. Paper flowers and grass skirts or mats add just the right touch when used with luau paper party goods. Elaborate tropical drinks served in real or plastic pineapples, oranges or coconuts can rely heavily on citrus punch and leave alcohol for another occasion.
Night time luau parties are the best as long as mosquitoes are uninvited. Speaking of invitations, there is lots of room for creative expression in the luau party cards. Try designing one of the home printer varieties using open domain clipart or original designs. Colorful sunsets, palm trees and grass huts on the beach will help create the setting.
If fortunate enough to have access to a public beach park or private yacht club facility; there will be the best choice for this salute to summer. Make sure that the beach is adequately groomed. Perhaps a clam bake can be added. When the local yacht club holds sail races or regattas try to schedule the luau for the same time if facilities and parking permit for both activities. This will add great entertainment value to the party.
When possible, sports like beach volleyball or frisbee golf will entertain both participants and spectators. Schedule a time that utilizes the blazing beauty of sunset if the local beach views the western sky. As the orange sun melts into the calm waters of night there will be no doubt that this is the best luau of summer.
