Jinkies! I’ve got a clue that a Scooby Doo themed party just might be what you’re looking for! After all, Scooby and the rest of the gang, Shaggy, Fred, Thelma and Daphne have remained popular for thirty years. By now the kids who originally tuned in to the show have kids of their own that are enjoy the Scooby Doo gang!
Their have multiple television shows since the original cartoon series. The Scooby Doo gang grew up, broke up and got back together again. There’s even a cartoon series showing the Scooby Doo gang when they were just kids in school. Of course, who can forget the live action movies with Freddie Prince Junior?
If you are looking to throw a Scooby Doo party you’ll find that there is no shortage of movies and cartoons and even comic books that you can provide to the kids for entertainment. So with that taken care of you can move on to finding decorations.
Luckily there is also no shortage of merchandising for this scaredy pooch! Be on the lookout for paper party supplies in the form of Scooby Doo themed plates, napkins, cups and tablecloths. If you can find some fun Scooby Doo wall hangings they would add a lot to the party area.
In addition the Scooby Doo theme is great for a Halloween party. You can set up a monster mystery of your very own for the kids to solve. Before the party write out clues on pieces of paper and give them to the kids. At the end of the clue trail they should find a special monster treat!
Easy monster punch is a special treat to serve the kids at this party. You can take some lemon-lime soda, lemonade and a little green food coloring to make green monster juice. Place a few scoops of orange sherbet on top to act like monster innards.
